What’s happening nation? This is my first blog post. I’ll basically be blogging about the weather. Speaking of which, how about all this rain we got on Wednesday? Yes, we needed it, but holy cow! Dubuque Street in downtown Iowa City had to close because of a mudslide! The hill of grass by our front playground is covered in mud. I haven’t seen that in forever. Not even kidding. Since the drought in the summer of 2012, we’ve been desperately hoping for some sort of precipitation. Well Iowa, there you go. Are you happy? I sure as heck hope so. We’re supposed to get a lot more. I hope not. The Iowa River is already extremely high! Going off subject a little, I was walking to school today, and I was in a slightly heavy coat because it was below 40 degrees Fahrenheit! IT’S APRIL!! THIS SHOULDN’T BE HAPPENING!!!! I thought April temperatures should be in the 50s or 60s.
Well that’s your weather rant! Have a good day!
